Welcome

Welcome to my website! My name is Alexis, although I often use the alias Ares (short for Aresenik) online! I'm currently 20 years old and am attending college at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. I'm pursuing a degree in Animation & Game Design, with multiple ideas I can't wait to see play out in the future. I'm currently working with a friend on a project named Kismet, but other than that I can mainly be found drawing. I have such a love for designing characters, especially when it comes to putting them in cute clothes. I also love coming up with vivid and descriptive worlds for them to live in, and creating the lore necessary for their stories.

My main goals are to open up a studio someday, for both creating Kismet and creating cartoons aimed for teenagers / young adults, a target audience that is surprisingly rare to find shows for unless you're looking at anime. I also want the ability to create a platform for myself, and aim to achieve this through my creative works.

Kismet is a game I am working on with my friend, Ray, who you can find here on Twitter. The idea originated with Ray, but once I became their friend we began shooting ideas off of each other and it became a passionate project between the both of us. Kismet is ultimately a game about a group of college students and the consequences they face due to their tampering of fate. The game will include a mix of both religious and technological themes, and although it's mainly a dating simulator, it also serves as a means to explore the complicated and messy relationships between each of the characters.
